Harpenden 2s played Shefford and Sandy 3s at home today.  After the opposition arrived late, the game got off to a slow start with Harpenden’s defence nearly being caught off-guard by an attack from the opposition.  Thankfully a clean sheet was maintained and Harpenden soon got stuck in there and were 2-0 up by half time due to a breakdown in Shefford and Sandy’s defence.
The second half of the match saw a significant change in the Harpenden Team with great movement off the ball and many opportunities to strike at goal, with the first goal of the half scored within the opening minutes.  A further goal enabled Harpenden to finish 4-0 by the final whistle.
