Harpenden Ladies 2s played Shefford & Sandy 3s today and won 2-1 after a well fought match.
We arrived at the sandy pitch at Sandy!  We thought we needed our beach stuff!  Nats was wearing sun glasses and looking as cool as a cat.  The first half started well with most of the possession in Shefford’s half (despite a bit of argy-bargy from the oppo!).  Jenny scored from an unlucky deflection from a short corner (pity it was for the opposition) but Vicki returned the compliment before long in the second half bringing the score to 1-1.  A series of neat passes and penetrating runs resulted in an impressive goal from Lou using her borrowed stick!  The final whistle blew leaving the end score 2-1 to Harpenden.
