Harpenden Ladies 2s played Leighton Buzzard 3s today.  It was freezing cold but we were ready for a win.
The first half got off to a great start with Harpenden going one nil up straight away from a well taken short-corner; Lou McCallum the scorer.  Harpenden maintained the pressure throughout the match and after some good movement and passing, Jordaine M took the opportunity to give Harps a 2-0 lead by slotting the ball home.
The second half brought two more goals: the first from Lou from another short corner and the second from Olivia who finished off a fantastic cross from Emily. Unfortunately the end of the match saw a slightly scrappy moment in Harpenden’s D enabling the oppo to score.  Overall though a good performance by Harpenden.
