“It was a very cold day with a chilling wind up the pitch but we called our parents to bring our thermals” - Beth.  Jacs was shivering on the sideline and she looked how we felt – COLD!  By the end of the first half we were one nil down, you can safely say we played as though we were freezing (a not so great start).  At half time DT had a lot to say but we picked our feet up and fought back bringing the score to 1-1.  Cathy did a fantastic run up the pitch with a close shot but unfortunately missed.  Claire’s goal was a brilliant strike from top ‘D’ and was well deserved for her hard play – she won man of the match.  Emma and Jenny also played until they could no longer, fighting for every ball and were both close contenders for man of the match.
