Ladies 2s – Division 3 here we come……..!

Harpenden Ladies 2s secured the top spot in the 5 Counties 4th Division with a fantastic 8 – 0 win over struggling Chess Valley. Goals from Sally Gilbert, Louise McCullum, Phoebe Wright and Heather Burch ensured an emphatic victory on a wet and windy day at Hatfield. The Ladies 2s have had an excellent season winning every game, except one, and have amassed an huge 16 point clear gap between themselves and 2nd position AND an even more impressive goal difference of 57!! With 3 games to go, the leading goal scorers are Sally Gilbert (20) and Louise McCullum (13), however many other players have also chipped in with valuable goals over the course of the season - Sabrina Jayseelan (9), Heather Burch (8), Lucy Clark (4), Vicky Sandell (5) and Phoebe Wright (4), so well done to all of you! Also the Ladies 2s would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all other members of the club that have kindly umpired for us during our promotion winning season – Carolyn, Jacs, Babs, Nigel, Rhys, Muddy, Steve, Benno, Matt and Ian Beggs.
