TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS (& A BBQ)

Fancy playing hockey for Harpenden? Dates for trials for our five mens and three ladies teams have been confirmed for Saturday 1st September, followed by a barbie and some fun and games at Harpenden Cricket Club.

Above all, the trials are supposed to be FUN – a chance to catch up with old buddies, to meet some new faces and to dust off the stick after a summer of inactivity. Whether you’re a youngster or ‘more experienced’, male or female, top-flight international (yes please!) or novice, whether you’re an existing HHC member, new to the area or looking to move on from a local club, back from Uni or thinking of playing again after a few years away from the game, or something in between, we’d be delighted to see you.

The ladies trials take place between 10am and 1pm at Herts Sports Village, while men's trials are between 2 and 4pm at Woollams. Then, we're all back to the Cricket Club on Harpenden common from 6 onwards, for some burgers, some lagers and assorted other merriments.
