Lloyd banks on being
a player
7
April 2004
HHC was rocked this week when Director of Hockey Gareth
Lloyd sensationally quit.
Commented everyone's favourite mockney, "It
is after much consideration and thought that I have decided to
step down as HHC Training Director for the coming season.
I have been coaching the side for the last six seasons and have
enjoyed every minute of it but after all these years I feel it's
time for a change and new ideas."
Club Captain Kevin Moxham was the first to hear the news, and
was quick to praise Lloydy's efforts: "Oh for sure, the
lad's efforts over the years have been much appreciated, and there
is no doubt that his cheeky demeanour balanced by constructive
coaching skills have helped
the club come on leaps and bounds in recent years. He'll be missed,
but we all look forward to playing alongside him over season to
come. "
Lloyd's departure leaves the club without a coach for the 2004/5
season. If you have any suggestions as to who we might approach,
or if you would be interested in coming on board, please contact
