UNDER STARTER'S ORDERS

Harpenden Hockey Club isn't just about hockey - oh no, there's an active social scene to the club, and the 2007 festivities get underway on Saturday 3rd Feb at our Race Night.

It's hosted at Sir John Lawes School in Harpenden. We'll be under starters orders at 7.30pm and the first race is off at 8!. What's more, it only costs a couple of quid to get in. You can have a gamble on some of the races, even chance your arm at being a racehorse owner, and all the while have a few beers and plenty of laughs and a great opportunity to meet some people from other teams in the club.

Tickets are available from Karen Slough, Tom Bunbury or your team captain. They've put the effort in to get the social organised, so let's show them our support and get a good turn out. See you there!
